TOS & Warranty
Payment TermsPayment is only expected (for non-custom work) when the package is ready to be shipped. At this time, the flat-price, including shipping is factored into the overall price. You will be invoiced on PayPal and only after the payment is complete will the package be shipped out on the next Monday at USPS.Currently: Shipping outside of the USA makes the purchaser responsible for the shipping. Unfortunately, International shipping is very expensive and I do not feel great about making y'all pay $62+ for tracked shipping. That being said, if you are alright with this condition prices range from $62.70-80.85 depending on distance. This will be noted on the invoice.ShippingAll shipping within the continental USA is factored into the overall price of the product, including the materials it costs to ship like the jewelry box, stationary, and packaging. Everything will be shipped via USPS Ground Advantage (2-5 business days). The option to update to Priority (1-3 days) or Express (1-2 days) is available, however the customer is responsible for the upgrade in price which can be included on the invoice.Customers will receive their tracking number when it is available to keep an eye on their package. I also will keep an eye on it and should anything happen to the package, the next steps can be discussed between us.Returns & Refunds
In the case that there is an issue with the product, I am willing to create labels and take the item back. The cases that this would be applicable are only when the item is faulty, which I try my hardest to make sure these go out with a full, in-depth inspection for quality. Before returning it to me, please reach out and explain what exactly is wrong with it and this must include several pictures.I will not take returns for dislike of a pattern when you receive it. You were given plenty of opportunity, as well as I always send photos of the exact item(s) before shipping.Additionally, if the item does not fit, that is not a problem that I consider mine. I make these a standard size and they fit my wrist and that of a 6' man. I will always put the length of the item in the description as well as include a photo of it next to a ruler. Measure your wrist. If you need a bigger one, you can always inquire for a special order in which case I would be happy to oblige.Inspect your item carefully, I am only offering a return window of 30 days from arrival. Any wear, tear, or going against recommended care for the item will not qualify it for a return. If there is something legitimately wrong or the piece unravels the first time you wear it, I will refund you 100% notwithstanding any Priority or Express Shipping costs tacked on (or International shipping). If possible, I would like it returned to recycle and reuse the beads. Please do note with above: if I suspect that you have tampered with, cut, subjected the piece to too much strain, attempted to modify, had a pet go rabid with it, etc the warranty I offer is null. I will not be refunding or replacing pieces that are damaged due to personal neglience.I am also willing to provide some warranty work. If you would like something repaired, fixed, or a new clasp etc, reach out to me and we can discuss you shipping it to me so that I can do what is necessary. I am willing to do the work, but shipping costs must be covered by the client.Additionally, if you wear a piece and its natural lifespan comes to an end, but you'd like an identical one to replace it, please contact me. I keep all of my patterns and would be more than happy to create a new one at the same price you purchased it at previously.
Care
CareThese pieces are not indestructible. Please make sure you take care of them to extend their longevity! Miyuki beads are made of glass and incredibly durable. If you take care of them they will not fade or chip under normal conditions. What is most important is protecting the string that weaves it together, not the beads.CleaningWipe gently with a soft, damp cloth to remove oils, sweat, and dust. For a deep clean you can add a drop of mild soap (like dish soap) in diluted lukewarm water. Dip the cloth in the solution, wring well, and wipe piece carefully.DO NOT submerge or douse in water or any other liquid.
Gentle cleaning keeps the beads lustrous.DO NOT put bracelet into a supersonic cleaner or use any "jewelry" cleaners. These are designed for precious stones and metals and can damage bead finishes. What to AvoidWater: Remove before swimming or showering: chlorine and chlorine can degrade the cord, while soap and shampoo residue can build up between beads and dull their appearance.Applying perfume, hairspray, makeup spray, or lotion: do these before putting the piece on, after the bracelets and sprays are dry as the chemicals can affect finishes on the beads.Avoid extreme heat: do not leave these pieces directly in sunlight (like a car dashboard). While the beads are heat resistance, prolonged exposure can affect some finishes.Do the colors fade? Most will not fade, like regular opaque and transparent beads. However, the special finishes do require more care.Galvanized (metallic) finishes: the thin metallic coating can wear off with excessive friction.
Matte finishes: more porous than glossy and can absorb oils. Make sure to clean more oftne.
Aurora Borealis coatings: generally durable, but these iridecent surfaces can scratch if stored against hard materials.StorageProper storage helps keep these pieces from suffering damage like tangling, scratching, and stress on the cords.Store bracelets flat (not hanging). When store hanging vertically, gravity gradually stretches the cord.Jewelry tray with individual compartments, a satin pouch, or the box the piece came in (provided upon arrival by me) is the best place to store them.If you own multiple pieces, store them separately. Most damage to jewelry is caused during storage rather than wear. The industry estimates about 60% of damage is due to improper storage.
How long do these pieces last?Since I utilize the best materials on the market, including the best thread, these bracelets should last at least 3-5 years or longer, even with daily wear. Keeping up with maintenance and care really helps prolong their lifespan. Is it ok to wear these to bed?I do not reccomend it. Not only does this cause unnecessary friction, but the small beads could get caught on threads or something while you sleep. What if I wear it in the rain? That is ok. Brief exposure is not a big deal. Just pat them dry afterward with a soft cloth. How do I clean the metallic clasp? The clasps I use are metal. They will specify on each piece, but usually silver or gold plated finish on zinc alloy. Do not soak these, as the clasps are attached directly to the strings. Take a bowl of lukewarm water, put some mild soap in it, and then gently scrub with a softbristled toothbrush that has been dipped in the solution. You can finish or wipe down with a cloth as well, just pay mind not to saturate the bracelet or where the clasps connect to it.
